Knitted baby vest for Arthur

Here's Arthur wearing the baby vest & beanie I finished knitting last year - see my blog post last April.

(Apparently James doesn't like to put anything on his head)

Baby knits for James

I started knitting a baby vest for James when he was in his 13th month. I only finished it properly (ie. tidying up all the loose yarn & cutting them off) in December. I have alot of leftover yarn so I'm trying to knit a beanie with a similar cable pattern (see top right of above image). I wonder if I'll ever finish the beanie cos tis my 1st time knitting such a pattern & I dunno how to finish it...

Drawstring Bag

I signed up for a PA (People's Association) Beginner's knitting course at imPAct @ Hong Lim Green.

I started knitting this drawstring bag on 5 April. Even though the course ended at the end of May (I signed up for the follow-up Advanced knitting course after that), I only finished it properly in September!!

My first pair of socks

I'm very proud of this pair of purple socks cos they were the first time I knitted socks and were actually on time for my fren's birthday :D

I often start on projects for people's birthdays but am unable to complete them in time for the birthday...

Thank you Tricia for taking and sending me these pictures :)

I knitted a baby blue elephant

The end product looks nothing like the picture in this free pattern I got off the internet.

http://www.knittinginstitute.co.uk/pdf_files/FreePatternFun1.pdf

Anyway the elephant is very soft & huggable.
Here's a picture of Reika with the elephant :)
