"Yesterday I was 100 days old! My mother says that in Japan, the oldest lady in the family is supposed to pretend to feed me food. This is to symbolise that I'll never go hungry.
"You're also supposed to 'feed' me stones... Usually, the custom is to touch 3 stones to my lips."
Kyoko also cooked many special dishes for dinner last nite - including fish and red bean rice 赤飯. I regret missing all that yummy food...
